Information & Computer Technology (ICT)Department

Information & Computer Technology (ICT)Department:

Since 1991 Computer Engineering Technology Program was part of Electrical & Electronics Engineering Technology (EEET) Department. Due to some reasons the intake was stopped in 1994. The Computer Technology program was redesigned and renamed as Information and Computer Technology (ICT) with new objective and restarted in 1998. The modified program has the objective of both Computer Science and Computer Technology. Due to increase in the number of students and staff in EEET Department, ICT program was separated from EEET dept and hence ICT became a full fledge department. Dr. Naseer H. Abosaq, PhD in Computer Technology is the HoD of ICT dept. The ICT department imparts knowledge and skills that enable Saudi youth to aquire entry level positions in the industry.
