Academic Programs Regulations

The BS program at YUC follows the credit system. The duration of each program is four academic years plus one academic year for the preparatory program. The students regularly progress from one academic level to another in accordance with the approved promotion rules. Each academic year is equivalent to two academic semesters.

Students are responsible for understanding and following the academic rules and regulations, including graduation requirements. Academic advisors assist students in planning their academic programs, but the academic advising activities do not relieve students from this responsibility. Therefore, every student should be thoroughly familiar with all the academic regulations and the degree conferral system and remain informed about them throughout his study at the college. A student may seek the assistance of his academic advisor or the department chairman in this respect.
