About YUC

Yanbu University College (YUC) is located in Yanbu Industrial City in the Mid-Western part of Saudi Arabia. YUC is a non-profitable government institution founded in 2005 by the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu. It offers bachelor degrees in the fields of Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, and Applied Linguistics. YUC is currently functioning from temporary campuses; a new permanent campus for females is under construction and due to be completed in 2010. A plan to build a new campus for males is in the offing and is expected to be completed in 2013.

Welcome to the website of Yanbu University College (YUC). YUC is one of the colleges which have been recently founded in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to keep pace with the latest development in education. It is an academic institution characterized by its distinguished leadership and faculty members. The aim of the administration at YUC is to achieve excellence in teaching and learning and thus make it a premier institution of its kind in the shortest possible time. To achieve this goal, the administration of the college spares no effort to hire highly qualified and motivated human resources from all over the world.

The administration has equipped the college with state of the art teaching aids available in the market. It consistently pursues its goal of improving the college’s learning resources and IT infrastructure and finds new ways to utilize this infrastructure to enhance the process of teaching and learning. In a related context, the curriculum at the college is regularly revised and updated to meet the national and international expectations. Moreover, the e-learning project, which provides learning stimulus beyond traditional learning methodology, is in its final stage of implementation in the college. In a nutshell, the administration continuously and dedicatedly works to improve all aspects of the academic life at the college.

The focus of all these efforts is our students. Our aim is to equip them with all those skills needed to successfully and efficiently serve their community and contribute to the progress of the kingdom. We, at YUC, aim at balanced and well- developed graduates who are ready to embrace the challenges of the future competitive world. For this purpose, the college has many clubs which provide them with a platform to apprehend their potential and polish their talent by actively engaging in various activities organized by these clubs. As a student at YUC, you will join a highly motivated community of students who are pursuing their career goals.
